Use Old Camp when you need early structure: trainers, merchants, arena routes, admission quests, and the bridge into castle business. It is especially useful before spending LP on Strength, Dexterity, one-handed combat, Lockpick, or Pickpocket.

Trainer checks: Diego and Thorus for attributes, Scatty for one-handed combat, Fingers for Lockpick and Pickpocket.
